This painting is the only self portrait I have ever done of myself. I shaved off some years in it. Can't blame me for that one. I also only like doing portraits in shades of gray, not sure why? I think it goes back to when I was young and I used to sit around and sketch people. I just fell in love with that look, everyone looked so beautiful that way.

My own rose bushes inspired both of these paintings. They were branches that were cut off and brought in as they both bloomed their final blooms. I love roses.
There are two separate paintings. Each piece of canvas is 12 x 12.
"By Any Other Name" is the first picture, the darker red roses.
"Smells as Sweet" is the second picture, the pink roses.

This piece was inspired by a relatives love for daisies. Every year she has a yard full. This inspired this piece for me. They always look so lush and beautiful.

Classic 57 Chevy. My inspiration for this piece is spending a childhood growing up around race cars and classic cars. I had a family who just loved the cars. I am painting a collection of some of my favorite classics so keep an eye out for more. I think a Mustang will be following next.
