There was just something about this lighthouse that just kept drawing me to it, so I had to paint it. Something about it just seems to keep haunting me. Looking at all my work, it is obvious that I like to twist the scenes just a little to fit my vision instead of reality. I love the vibrant colors and I always love a unique sky, they are always unique in reality anyways. Enjoy this one with me.

This artwork was created on a very simple concept. I wanted to use blue and purple and have it in a night setting. Beyond that I'd like to say I was just a mere tool and it created the rest on its own. Strange but true. I just let the paint go wherever it chose to and here it is. I think if you look at it and think you will see why it was named searching. Go ahead try?
The brighter areas of this piece tend to stand out nicely in a dimmer light. I think that adds some fun to it.

The inspiration for this piece is a water mill in the Smokey Mountains, Tennessee. The appeal of this piece is the waterfall that just feels like you could hear the water splashing down. The woods and the mill just set the mood of simpler times. Looking into this piece makes me smell the clean beautiful air and feel the water's off spray. I just adore water mills and thinking of the past. I bet this water mill was just an amazing thing in its day. I would love to hear the rush of water that it churned up.

The inspiration for this piece is a little hideaway in the woods of Washington. The appeal of this piece is finding yourself lost in the woods, only to come upon the perfect place to spend a lifetime. The stone bridge crossing, the waterfall, makes it all worthwhile. I cannot express how much while painting this work I wanted to just run away to this perfect place and hide from everything. This is where I'd like to be. How about you? The name I came by because of the journeys to many places. Look for the meanings and you should find them. Past Lands. The inspiration for this piece is a waterfall in another country however, I cannot remember where. When doing this piece I changed it and let it take on it’s own life and when it did it became much more. The colors in this work are orange, green, grays, white and yellows. The appeal of this piece is the overtones of a lost world. When I look into this piece I can feel the dinosaurs grazing just beyond the jungle. The waterfall coming down the rocks is soothing and creates wonder for me. I am not sure where this came from but I think it has a very special place for me. You get an array of colors from brown to pinks and more. The appeal of this is the curious onlookers searching for that unique and special item in a seaside town. Bridging The gap

Bridging the Gap. The inspiration for this piece is my father in laws love of trains. His hobby is doing the model railroad modules, which is truly an art form on its own. He is involved with The Western Reserve Model Railroad Museum and there they truly have a beautiful set up going.
This piece of artwork is put together with different pieces of what I like in scenery. I love fall colors one of my favorite times of the year. The train cars are taken from different trains, I wanted a train that I found pleasing to my eye. The bridge for the train is a train bridge in Vermont; I chose this bridge just because I loved it. I must say this one frustrated me a bit just because I had a certain vision and as always it just goes off on it’s own. This piece has inspired me to keep chugging along and to start my next piece. Enjoy.
